A late 17th century West Country silver Lace-Back Trefid spoon,
maker's mark only, JM, script, probably for John Murch, Plymouth /Tiverton, circa 1699,
the reverse of the bowl with foliate decoration, the reverse of the terminal prick-dot initialled 'S.W' over 'E.P', '1699', length 20.5cm, approx. weight 1.9oz.
