A George I West Country silver Hanoverian Rat-tail pattern basting spoon,
by Thomas Salter, Exeter 1713,
the oval bowl with a plain rat-tail, the reverse of the terminal scratch initialled 'T' over 'R.G', '1714', length 31.5cm, approx. weight 3.9oz.
