An enamel and diamond-set gold cigarette case by Cartier, the rectangular case decorated with horizontal black enamel lines and white enamel lozenges. Applied to the centre with a diamond-set stylised Chinese character representing double happiness within white enamel square border. Rose-cut diamond-set thumbpiece, circa 1940, Signed Cartier. Stamped 14k.
