TWO CHINESE PALE CELADON JADE PENDANTS
LATE QING DYNASTY
One carved as a squirrel clambering upon a fruiting vine, the other as gourds issuing from a leafy branch, a butterfly to one side, each suspended by a cord from a hardwood stand, the pendants 5.7cm max. (2)
Provenance: the Benveniste collection, Montreal. Purchased in the 1960s and '70s.
