TWO CHINESE PALE CELADON JADE RETICULATED PLAQUES
QING DYNASTY
One carved as an endless knot flanked by bats and peaches, the other with a pair of Mandarin ducks amongst lotus leaves and flowers, together with a celadon jade two-handled U-shaped cup, carved in shallow relief with spirals and key fret, 13.1cm. (3)
Provenance: the Benveniste collection, Montreal. Purchased in the 1960s and '70s.
