A CHINESE BRONZE MODEL OF A BUDDHIST LION DOG AND HER PUPPY
17TH CENTURY
In two parts, the bitch with its front paw resting on a brocade ball with ribbons, the smaller dog with its head turned over its back, both raised on one fitted hardwood reticulated stand carved with lingzhi, 15cm. (3)
Provenance: a European private collection, acquired 1965-85.
