A LARGE CHINESE BRONZE AND PARCEL-GILT ARCHAISTIC VASE
17TH CENTURY
The ovoid body cast in shallow relief with bands of taotie designs and flower roundels above eight taotie mask lappets, the shoulder with two loop handles formed with mythical beasts' heads, an inscription to the foot which reads 'SOUVENIR A L.MEGNEN MON GENDRE ET MEILLEUR AMI J.SEBILLE', 48cm.
