A TIBETO-CHINESE GILT BRONZE FIGURE OF AMITABHA BUDDHA DATED 1770
QIANLONG 1736-95
Seated on a draped robe in dhyanasana, his eyes downcast in a serene expression, his head adorned with a pointed headdress, the hair secured with ribbons in a high chignon, all raised on an openwork rectangular base which bears the inscription da Qing Qian Long geng yin nian jin zao, with traces of cold painting, 18.9cm.
