LATE MING DYNASTY
Carved in relief with a circular panel depicting two scholars seated beneath a pine tree at the water's edge, and with a pavilion on a distant cliff, the rim with a wide band of peony flowers and foliage, the reverse with peony and chrysanthemum, 25.7cm.
