A CHINESE BLANC DE CHINE MODEL OF TWO BUDDHIST LION DOGS
17TH CENTURY
Playfully modelled with one dog crouching, its head cocked to one side, the other on its haunches and resting its forepaw on his back, a brocade ball at their feet, all raised on a tall rectangular plinth, 21cm.
Provenance: a private collection, Holland Park, London.
