A PAIR OF CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE GU BEAKER VASES
KANGXI 1662-1722
Each painted with very similar scenes, the upper section depicting attendants carrying banners and swords and greeting a general who stands before an altar, the lower section with a scholar in a fenced rocky garden and a boy with two geese, all divided by floral sprays to the centre, each with a six character Chenghua mark to the base, 43.2cm. (2)
