A CHINESE DRAGON VASE, SHANGPING
SIX CHARACTER GUANGXU MARK AND POSSIBLY OF THE PERIOD
Brightly enamelled with two scaly five-clawed dragons and a flaming pearl of wisdom amongst clouds, the neck with many bats beneath a band of ruyi-heads, the shoulder with lotus and shou characters, 40.5cm.
Provenance: a European private collection, acquired 1965-85.
