EARLY 17TH CENTURY

The gently flaring shallow body painted in cobalt-blue, red and black to the centre with a saz leaf, encircled by a foliate spray of carnations, tulips and other flowers, all reserved on a bright turquoise ground, the rim with a geometric interlocking band, 26.8cm.
