THREE CHINESE STONEWARE GROUPS

19TH/20TH CENTURY

One a shiwan ware model of a luohan, seated in red flowing robes, a Buddhist lion dog grabbing his hooped earring, another a pair of parrots on a flowering prunus tree, the third with a pair of cranes perched on rockwork, the luohan with an inscription which reads luohan xi shi and a seal mark for Pan Yu Shu (d.1936), 30cm max. (3)

Provenance: a European private collection, acquired 1965-85.
