A MATCHED PAIR OF CHINESE FAMILLE VERTE MODELS OF BUDDHIST LION DOGS
KANGXI 1662-1722
The male with its forepaw resting above a loose brocade ball, the female with a small puppy clambering to one side, each with a flared incense stick holder to its back and raised on an openwork rectangular plinth, 19.8cm. (2)
Provenance: a European private collection, acquired 1965-85.
