A KOREAN INLAID CELADON GLAZED CUP STAND

12TH CENTURY

The lobed dish raised on a flaring petal-shaped base, with a central raised flange, decorated with six delicate flowerheads, 13cm.

Provenance: a European private collection, acquired 1965-85.

Cf. Splendour and Serenity: Korean Ceramics from the Honolulu Museum of Art, 13th August - 8th November 2015, which included a related cup and cup stand dating to the 12th century.
