A GOOD JAPANESE SATSUMA OVAL TRAY
MEIJI 1868-1912
The well extensively decorated with many figures in dwellings by a river, including townsmen and women in tea houses, a man shoveling snow and others on boats, the border decorated with brocades, ho-o birds, swirly waves and maple leaves, the exterior with further ho-o birds amongst flowers, the rim inscribed ? Kozan sei possibly for Seikozan, 31.5cm.
