A FINE JAPANESE BLACK AND GOLD LACQUER STATIONARY BOX AND COVER
MEIJI 1868-1912
With a central compartment, the lower section with an ink stone and a small silver water pot, the exterior decorated in gold lacquer and mother of pearl with leafy tendrils and grasshoppers, together with two gold lacquer writing brushes, with a two character mark and red seal, 33.7cm. (12)
