18TH/19TH CENTURY

The gnarled surface with three holes suggesting the face of a ghostly figure, a rectangular lid to the back, unsigned, with a glass bead ojime and a wood netsuke carved as a small rat on a chestnut, signed Shuya with Kakihan, 6.3cm.
