A Martin Brothers stoneware jug by Robert Wallace Martin, dated 1878, slender, shouldered form incised with a classical figure of a woman collecting water from a stream, the reverse with classical male figure playing a pipe, in shades of blue and brown on a buff ground, and a near pair incised with a classical harp player and a pipe player dated 1876, incised 78 R W Martin London 7-1878, damages, 27cm. high (2)
