A Longden & Co brass and wrought iron Old English fire basket, the tapering columns on flaring feet, with cast, pierced Medieval Revival foliate round terminals, 81cm. wide, 50cm. deep.

An almost identical pair of fire dogs can be seen in the Morris & Co interior of Stanmore Hall, an interior designed by W R Lethaby.
