Description
A pair of silkwork embroidered pictures mounted on paper, one of ribbon tied flowers and leaves, the other with a cornucopia issuing flowers, each in a glazed, gilt and ebonised carved frame, late 18th / early 19th century, 27.4 x 22cm, with a hand written paper label to the verso inscribed 'The Property of Harriet Sophia Betty Payne. Born at Uphill, Weston-super-Mare, Somersetshire, 1813. Married Michael Miller of Plush, Dorsetshire 1836. Died at Fordington, Dorchester, 1868. Buried at Plush.' (2)
