Description
A large German loving cup or marriage goblet dated 1828, the rounded bowl applied with two handles, engraved with a couple dancing between two musicians and two figures drinking by a table, the reverse with a hunting scene, with a long inscription including the date 1828, 24cm. Contained in a fitted leather box. (2)
Provenance: from a private collection in Sussex.
