Description
Two Venice or façon de Venise custard or syllabub cups and covers late 17th/early 18th century, the thistle-shaped bodies applied with twisted handles, the domed covers with turquoise finials, and four façon de Venise glasses with varying applied turquoise decoration, 11.5cm max. (8)
Provenance: from a private collection in Sussex. Purchased from Christie's, 7th October 1996, lot 89 for the syllabub pots.
