An Italian maiolica syrup or wet drug jar c.1700, from The Marches region, decorated in blue with wide foliate sprays beneath an egg and dart border, on a pale blue ground, with wide strap handle, and raised on a low circular foot, a little rim chipping, 18.8cm.
