Description
A Saint Cloud seau à bouteille or wine cooler c.1722-40, the rounded body moulded to two sides with flowering branches issuing from formal rockwork, the sides with grotesque mask handles with protruding tongues, the whole later decorated in turquoise enamels on a blue caillouté ground, incised SC over T mark, 15.8cm.
