A Meissen fabeltiere plate c.1740, painted in purpurmalerei and gilt with a mythical creature beside Oriental plants, in the manner of A F von Löwenfinck, the shaped rim with a continuous foliate scroll, blue crossed swords mark, a small filled rim chip, 23.5cm.
