A North West Coast copper mask
Possibly Haida / Tsimshian
with burnished eyebrows and eyes, with piercings to the nostrils and eyes,
27.4cm high.
There are a few circular marks over the surface of the mask which have been suggested are those left by limpets, implying the copper used may have been taken from the hull of a boat.
