Melanesia
mother of pearl, turtle shell, fibre and beads, one with a moulded reverse and one snapped at the base of the shank.
5.4cm, 5.7cm, 6cm, 6cm, 7.5cm long. (5)

Wilfred Fowler, District Officer on Ysabel (Santa Isabel), Solomon Islands in 1929 - 1931 and author of This Island's Mine, 1959, an autobiographical account of his time on the island.
