Description
A late 16th century French iron coffret, the domed lid with a swing handle, revealing a vacant interior, the locking clasp is released by pulling out the front left foot, with a bronze key that is probably original, 10cm high, 12.4cm wide.
Provenance: Purchased by the current vendor from Keith Hocken Antiques, Stow-on-the-Wold.
