Description

A late 17th century wrigglework pewter plate, with a triple reeded edge the centre decorated with a tulip flanked by two lovebirds amidst foliage, with owner's initials 'A G' over 'M D', with an unidentified touchmark to the base, 21.7cm diameter.

Provenance: Purchased by the current vendor from Peter Gould.
