An early 20th century French cast iron card stand, in the form of a waiter carrying brass trays, with elongated legs on a triangular base, the underside stamped '16344 Depose' and with a circular foundry stamp inscribed 'CARPE DIEM', with a square and compass, 89cm high, 29.3cm wide.
