A Victorian 1821 pattern heavy cavalry officer's sword, slightly curved fullered blade 35.5 in., etched panels with crowned royal cypher and foliate scrolls, 'PROOF' in gold poincon to the ricasso, pieced steel hilt of 'honeysuckle' type, wire bound fishskin covered grip, steel scabbard with two suspension rings.
