A Victorian Royal Artillery officer's sword, slightly curved and etched blade 34.5 in., gold proof poincon to the ricasso, numbered 5246, regulation steel three bar hilt with cross-hatched panel over half of the back strap, steel scabbard, blade length indicates possible use by a mounted officer; together with a George V Royal Artillery officer's sword, etched blade 34 in., regulation three bar hilt with chequered back strap, brown leather field scabbard.
