A Victorian silver engraved vinaigrette, Old Chain Pier Brighton,
by Nathaniel Mills, 1847,
rectangular form, the hinged cover with a scene of the pier, the interior with a pierced and engraved silver-gilt foliate scroll grille, scroll borders, the sides and base with engraved foliate scroll decoration, the base with an initialled cartouche, length 4.5cm, approx. weight 0.9oz.
