A George IV silver kitchen nutmeg grater,
by Joseph Willmore, Birmingham 1824,
cylindrical form with reeded borders and handle, flush hinged base, engraved with a crest, length 7.5cm.
Provenance: sold in these rooms, A Private Collection of Silver Nutmeg Graters, April 20th, 2005 Part 1, lot 33.
The crest is that used by a number of families including: Clive, Dennet, Halliday, Purcell, and Waring.
