A 17th century silver squeeze-action spice / snuff box,
maker's mark of TT crowned, circa 1680-90,
oval form, the hinged cover engraved with a cupid blowing a horn, with a townscape behind, inscribed 'AMOVR SAN REIOVI', and sides with engraved decoration, the base with foliate scroll decoration, length 3.6cm, approx. weight 0.5oz.
