maker's mark of TT crowned, circa 1680-90,
oval form, the hinged cover engraved with a cupid with his bow, and a snake by his feet, with houses behind, and sides with engraved decoration, the base with foliate scroll decoration, length 4.4cm, approx. weight 0.5oz.
