A Queen Anne silver snuffer's stand and a pair of later scissor snuffers,
by Joseph Bird, London 1712, the snuffers by Joseph Stewart, London 1739,
the snuffer holder with a scroll handle, knopped octagonal baluster stem, on a raised octagonal base, engraved with an armorial within foliate mantling, the snuffers with ring handles, total height 17.8cm, approx. weight 9.8oz. (2)
The crest is that of Penrose.
