A George III silver cheese warming dish and cover,
by William Stroud, London 1801/2,
rectangular form, the raised hinged cover with an urn finial and engraved with an armorial, and with a chain and hook attachment, turned wooden baluster handle, the interior with six rectangular removable dishes, length 22cm, approx. weight 49oz.
The arms are those of Richdale impaling another.
