by Wang Hing, Hong Kong, circa 1891,
tapering circular bowl, with bamboo and bird decoration on a matted background, the bowl supported by three simulated bamboo supports, on a raised circular foot, inscribed 'To J.C. Watson, from English Indian and Chinese Friends, Hong Kong 1891', height 19.8cm, approx. weight 11.8oz.
