An early 19th century German silver tea urn,

Kassel, date letter O, maker's mark I.K,

urn form, with lion mask drop ring handles, ribbon-tied ribbons and swags, beaded borders, (some a.f), the pull-off cover with a detachable cone finial, fluted tap with a wooden handle, on a raised square base with a pierced gallery on four ball feet, height 45cm, approx. weight 87oz.
