An Arts and Crafts jug retailed by Liberty & Co, ovoid with pinched rim, painted with columns of fritillary flowers in shades of red and green on a white ground, painted Liberty London, 14cm. high
Provenance
Marion Terry (1853-1930) the sister of Ellen Terry was also an actress and played Mrs Erlynne in Oscar Wilde's Lady Windermere's Fan and Bathsheba in Thomas Hardy's Far From the Madding Crowd.
