*A CHINESE PALE CELADON JADE INCENSE BURNER AND COVER
18TH CENTURY
The oval body raised on four short feet, carved in shallow relief with a band of taotie masks amongst C-scrolls, with two loose-ringed handles, the cover with petals radiating from the oval knop, the stone with cream mottling, 13.8cm. (2)
Provenance: formerly in an American private collection, c.1960.
