A TIBETO-CHINESE GILT BRONZE FIGURE OF AMITABHA BUDDHA

QIANLONG 1736-95

Seated on a draped robe in dhyanasana, his eyes downcast in a serene expression, his head adorned with a pointed headdress, the hair secured with ribbons in a high chignon, all raised on an openwork rectangular base and with traces of cold painting to the hair, eyes and mouth, 21cm.
