A MASSIVE CHINESE LOBED CLOISONNE JARDINIERE
18TH CENTURY
Decorated with a continuous design of lotus flowers and scrolling foliate designs on a bright turquoise ground, the design extending to the everted rim and bordered with a wide band of gilt key fret, with an inner metal liner, 66cm. (2)
Provenance: formerly in the collection of the Hon. Mrs Mary Anna Marten OBE (1929-2010), Crichel House, Dorset.
