A CHINESE GLASS SNUFF BOTTLE
1780-1880
The tapering baluster body overlaid in blue, red and brown, carved in relief with a pair of Mandarin ducks swimming amongst lotus, bamboo and peony, with the sun amongst swirling clouds and a single butterfly in flight above, all reserved on an opalescent white ground, 8.2cm.
