*A LARGE CHINESE CELADON GLAZED VASE

SIX CHARACTER QIANLONG MARK AND OF THE PERIOD 1736-95

The ovoid body rising to a flaring neckrim, moulded to the exterior with concentric bands of key fret, formal lappets and petals, all reserved on cell diaper grounds, the neck with openwork dragon handles divided by bands of stiff leaves, 65cm.

Provenance: purchased in New York, c.1965.
