A RARE CHINESE IMPERIAL GREEN GLAZED 'DRAGON' BOWL
KANGXI SIX CHARACTER MARK AND OF THE PERIOD 1662-1722
The exterior incised with two five-clawed dragons, each chasing a flaming pearl above crested waves, the interior well with a dragon medallion, 15.2cm.
Provenance: formerly in an English private collection; sold as one of a pair at Sotheby's, London, 10 June 1986, lot 279. Exhibited at the Kunstmuseum of Dusseldorf as part of the Chinesische Keramik exhibition in 1965, no.184.
