A PAIR OF CHINESE 'DOWAGER EMPRESS' STYLE YELLOW GROUND VASES
C.1900
Each painted with two scaly dragons amongst chrysanthemum flowers, a famille rose band to the rim and foot depicting panels of flowers and birds on a turquoise ground, with gilt lion mask handles, 46cm. (2)
Provenance: formerly in the collection of Norman Loudon (d.1967), owner of Shepperton Studios, and thence by family descent.
